meccanica s.p.A. was established in 1961 by Dr.
Emilio Robbi. At first, the company concentrated on small and medium
sized paper machines. In 1968, it began to build large machines under a
licensee agreement with DOMINION ENGINEERING WORKS of Canada and
simultaneously, made massive investments to increase its design and
manufacturing capabilities. By the end of the 15-year license
agreement, OVER MEccANICA
had the capability to operate independently and, to date, has supplied more than 200 complete paper machines, a number of
which are turnkey projects, plus over 500 rebuilds, including: -

Suction Rolls - Dryer Cans and Yankee Dryers The
first pilot plant was opened in 1974. In 1999, a new facility at
Nogarole Rocca was successfully started up with a pilot machine composed
of a twin wire former, a complete press section including a new
technology shoe press, and a wet reel. |
